Even though my band plays this song in the key of A also, its really written in Ab. Merle capos up four and plays it out of E. Just to let you know, I gave it a 5 anyway, the sevenths are a nice touch.

this tab is wrong for merle haggard's workin man blues and just notating the chord's don't help there is so much more to the song than you have tabed be a great picker and tab in the rest those who veiw your tab's will be greatful to see the complete tab of workin man blues it really is a great song
